Cancellations (COVID-19)

All cancellations at this time will be able to rearrange their stay for another time that suits, however we are unable to give refunds due to the current circumstances.

Damage

You will be liable to pay for any charges resulting from damage repair/replacement to the pods, equipment or outdoor site (this includes damage done by dogs).

Cleaning

A cleaning fee only applies to stays under 3 nights and will be charged at a flat rate of £30 per stay, if staying 3+ nights there will be no additional charge for cleaning. If pods are left in a poor condition, you will be liable to pay for the cost of the additional cleaning (charged at £30 per hour).

Noise

We want to share this beautiful location with you but it is important to us that we are respectful towards our neighbours. Please avoid excessive noise, especially at night/early morning. In the UK, between the hours of 11pm & 7am, there are legal implications of excessive noise. Strathy Bay Pods could face up to a £500 fine if a noise complaint between these hours leads to a fixed penalty notice (fine). In this instance Strathy Bay Pods would back-charge you the same amount and you would be asked to leave the site at once.

Dogs

It is your responsibility to control and clean up after you dog. Any dog mess found onsite or in pods will result in a cleaning charge of £50
We are also located near livestock, a busy beach, close to neighbours. For this reason dogs must be kept under control at all times. Strathy Bay Pods will not be liable for any costs or penalties relating to dog control issues.
